BISC participated in the 2021 Bethune Roundtable virtual conference which just successfully concluded!
The conference program consisted of 38 panelists and speakers and 74 abstracts touching upon diverse aspects of global surgery including women in surgery, indigenous health, and sustainability in global partnerships. All sessions were recorded, including abstracts. The conference platform remains open to registered participants for approximately 6 months, so participants can go back to the virtual platform to review talks about strengthening health infrastructures in under-resourced communities and re-watch something they would like to see again or missed.
A big thank you to the conference co-chairs, Dr. Dan Decklebaum and Dr. Tarek Razek and their planning committee from McGill University and Dr. Ron Lett from CNIS for putting on a great conference.
