Project Travel Awards

We offer travel awards for students to collaborate with BISC Faculty and Advisory Committee members in their global projects. By covering travel-related costs, these awards give students the opportunity to participate actively while understanding the burden of unmet surgical care in developing countries.

Eligibility is determined by the following criteria: Canadian citizenship; resident in member departments; enrolled R3 or higher at UBC. Award winners are determined by faculty selection and will be encouraged to publish or present upon return from the project location.
